Nothing quite like celebrating a birthday through the eyes of your child.
Princess Camp
Camryn and Hayden went to Princess Camp yesterday and today in Duvall. They had an awesome time – so glad I signed them both up. They made princess hand mirrors and colored tons of princess and dancing images. What a perfect way to start your day as a 6 year old.
Lunch Time
Camryn requested Red Robin for lunch. Fortunately we planned things well, so Sam was able to meet us and we had a nice time. Our once (and mostly still) shy daughter was so excited for the birthday song and ice cream! She shared a bit of it with Hayden and we somehow convinced her that she didn’t need to eat the whole thing.
Afternoon Fun
The girls played with a few of the neighborhood kids at the park. They both really wanted to do that and I was happy to give them everything they wanted. Thankfully Wednesday was the nicest day of the week! We were at the park a long time…
Dinner Time
Our friend Debbie joined us for the glamorous dinner – Papa John’s pizza, berries and birthday cake. The girls were awesome with eating their food and sitting nicely. Maybe we should have dinner guests more often!
I made the cake. It is a devils food cake with vanilla icing and fondant. The book was Camryn’s request and I put a 6 on it along with imprinting her name!
I was adorable at six wasn’t I?
